Students from the Faculty of Arts & Science have the opportunity to join one of several dozen Summer Abroad programs offered through Woodsworth College. The courses enable students to complete U of T credits abroad in 3-6 weeks, in small classes taught by U of T professors or faculty from the host universities.
International Course Modules (ICMs) allow students to participate in intensive international experiences in the framework of existing undergraduate courses, with travel normally scheduled over Reading Week.

The Professional Experience Year Co-op Program (PEY Co-op) provides students with 12-16 month work term opportunities where they can apply their knowledge in a professional environment. Often in project-based, engineering and innovative settings, students gain experience, skills, and knowledge that is vital to their ongoing career development.

The Centre for Critical Development Studies at UTSC offers a co-op program for 4th year students to apply knowledge and gain experience in the professional world. Students get to embark on an 8-12 month placement in their chosen field of either social or political science. Find out more here!
The Management & International Business (MIB) co-op program is the University of Toronto’s only international undergraduate business program. UTM Abroad Academic Experiences are UTM courses, academic internships, or research opportunities offered through the regular academic calendar that offer students an opportunity to participate in an international experience during the fall/winter break period or during the summer with their professor and fellow classmates.
UTM Glocal Impact Projects are short-term international experiences that promote socially conscious travel and broaden one’s perspective to better prepare them to solve local and global challenges. Students travel during the fall/winter break period or right after the end of classes in April/May through an amazing new landscape and will learn how global issues connect back to issues within our city and region.
The Department of Language Studies offers the Study in Florence Program as a unique experience that allows students to live and learn in Florence, Italy from September to December while obtaining up to 3.0 University of Toronto credits.
