Delegations

Incoming

U of T’s Office of the Vice-President, International coordinates the visits of delegations from international institutions of research and higher learning, as well as heads of state and diplomats. Our office focuses on delegations that have university-wide scope and are consistent with U of T’s international strategic framework. Additionally, we support faculties, schools, and divisions with their visiting delegations, including providing advice, background information and logistical support.

Institutions interested in visiting U of T should complete our online delegation request form.

Outgoing

The Office of the Vice-President, International also coordinates outgoing missions to strategic countries, cities, and institutions. The President, Vice-Presidents, and other leaders travel on these missions to enhance U of T’s global footprint by seeking partnerships and agreements in line with the University’s internationalization strategy.

Additionally, our office provides support to faculties, schools, and divisions as they travel on outbound missions by providing them with briefing notes focusing on strategy, existing partnerships and activity, protocol advice, and itinerary preparation.
